We have very strong community values at BGIS, and we’re especially proud of our involvement within the Quebec community these past 16 years, which has resulted in a total of over $500,000 in donations to various community organizations.
For the 14th consecutive year, we are proud to sponsor an organization that focuses on helping sick children:
President’s Choice Children’s Charity
“The President’s Choice Children’s Charity is dedicated to helping children who are physically or developmentally challenged. Families who have children born with disabilities, like Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, to name a few, come to us for help. How could we not reach out and try to help these young people gain back some of their dignity, independence and freedom?”
The 17th Annual BGIS Golf Tournament – Quebec, will be held on Tuesday, August
28, 2018 at the prestigious Golf Le Mirage in Terrebonne.
More than 140 players will participate in this event including many BGIS clients as well as numerous suppliers as well as BGIS executive members.
Such a large-scale tournament would not be possible without the help of several companies in support of the President’s Choice Children’s Charity.
Following the success of last year’s event, we will once again be hosting our sixth Annual Silent Auction. So, please join us for a round of golf and participate in the success of our annual event.
One hundred per cent of funds raised by President’s Choice® Children’s Charity in Quebec go directly toward supporting Quebec families whose children have physical or developmental disabilities, as well as nutrition programs aimed at fighting childhood hunger. In 2015, the President’s Choice® Children’s Charity proudly granted over $2.4 million helping 416 families and supporting 332 nutrition programs, which feed over 37,800 children in Quebec. Since 1989, the charity has awarded $130 million, supporting more than 2.7 million children across Canada.
“President’s Choice® Children’s Charity is committed to helping kids across Canada live life well. Through our grants for disability and donations to programs that fight childhood hunger, we want to help as many children as possible – ultimately having a positive impact on the next generation of Canadians,” said Karine Mondor, coordinator President’s
Choice® Children’s Charity.
