BGIS Announces Stephen Welton, C.B.E. Appointed to the BGIS Advisory Board

BGIS, a global leader in integrated facilities management, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Welton, C.B.E. to the BGIS Advisory Board.

Mr. Welton is the founder and first chief executive of Business Growth Fund (BGF), a major investment company set up in 2011 by five UK banks in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. In 2013, Mr. Welton was appointed as an advisor to the UK Government regarding the establishment of the British Business Bank to drive sustainable growth and prosperity across the UK and enable the transition to a net zero economy. In 2023, His Majesty appointed Mr. Welton a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. Mr. Welton is currently the, Chair of the British Business Bank, the UK’s economic development bank, and a director of Intermediate Capital Group plc, which is an FTSE 100 global private equity investment firm publicly-listed on the London Stock Exchange.
