Vendor Qualification Requirements for Facilities Management Service Providers
BGIS uses ComplyWorks as its Supplier Qualification Management System provider to mitigate risk by using qualified vendors. ComplyWorks will help suppliers store and maintain all required qualification compliance documents such as insurance (commercial general liability, commercial automobile liability, professional errors and omissions coverage), BGIS signed terms and conditions, HSE, and WSIB/WCB/CSST in one central location.
Once you’ve read through our policies and expectations, complete the application for the opportunity to be added to our database of potential suppliers. If are interested in providing services in support of our Public Works and Government Services Canada contract, close this window and scroll up to the previous section to read more about working on our PWGSC Account.
Prior to the delivery of service, all BGIS service providers must agree to and sign the Terms and Conditions that apply to them:
BGIS is committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of workplace injuries and ill health. Furthermore, BGIS is committed to continual improvement of our health and safety performance, as well as promoting and enacting environmental stewardship in our environmental management system and our business processes. As the industry leader in workplace management solutions, the protection and enhancement of the safety and well-being of our team members as well as environmental stewardship initiatives - such as sustainable resource use, emission reductions, and climate change mitigation - are cornerstones in the BGIS operating philosophy and are values embedded in our corporate culture.
ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems sets out the criteria for our environmental management system to be certified. Environmental management is an integral part of our day-to-day operations. Because of this, all buildings managed by BGIS are included within the scope of the Environmental Management System, excluding RP-1. Please see attached Environmental Policy: ENG | FR

BGIS believes supplier diversity is an important contributor to our corporate mission of ensuring that we are being inclusive in our supply chain practices. We achieve this goal by providing organizations, which are at minimum 51 percent owned, controlled and managed by historically underutilized groups with an equal opportunity to become suppliers. Our Supplier Diversity process recognizes certified visible minority, aboriginal, woman, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender-owned businesses. We are also considering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in our diversity process.
