Guided by these principles, we use a procurement process that includes environmental performance as one of the essential indicators of overall desirability of a product or service

Vendor Qualification requirements – BGIS uses a third party Supplier Qualification Management System provider to mitigate risk by using qualified vendors

BGIS Terms & Conditions - Supplier partners are required to sign the BGIS Terms and Conditions

Health, Safety & Environment - BGIS is ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System registered. BGIS is committed to providing safe and healthy work environment to prevent workplace injuries and ill health, and we have similar expectations for our supplier partners. BGIS is focused on its goal of Workplace Zero, which drives us to continual improvement of our health and safety performance and promoting and enacting environmental stewardship in our environmental management system and our business processes. The protection and enhancement of the safety and well-being of our team members, as well as environmental stewardship initiatives such as sustainable resource use, emission reductions, and climate change mitigation, are cornerstones in the BGIS operating philosophy and are values embedded in our corporate culture.

Quality – BGIS is ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems certified, which sets out the criteria for our quality management system. Suppliers/Vendors are selected and retained based on their ability to continually meet our requirements that support being ISO 9001:2015 certified. BGIS is committed to continually improving our quality management system, which provides the framework for our customer focused service delivery excellence commitment. Through our commitments, BGIS enables innovation corporately and across our clients’ real estate portfolios by developing and implementing industry leading real estate and facility management solutions. BGIS continues to meet and exceed all requirements, proudly enabling the retention of our ISO 9001 Certification.

Supplier code of conduct - At BGIS, we are committed to a fair dealing and integrity policy in the conduct of all aspects of our business. Accordingly, we established the Supplier Code of Conduct for a minimum set of requirements to current and potential suppliers, consistent with our company’s Ethics Policy and Code of Business Conduct. These principles specify the ethics and standards required for engaging in business with BGIS.

Invoicing and Payment – BGIS requires suppliers to follow the BGIS invoicing process.

Work order management – The RealSuite® platform supports our business partners and supplier network with a proactive approach to service delivery excellence to ensure work orders are actioned promptly throughout the lifecycle.

Supplier bidding opportunities:

BGIS leverages the MERX procurement solicitation system as our bidding platform to ensure bidding is open, fair, transparent and accessible. We post over 10,000 opportunities per year in various real estate and facility management service categories. We invite service providers to browse for potential opportunities on our site and register with the service to take advantage of the opportunity to grow your business with BGIS.
